What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?

We’re doing our best to keep everyone safe and offer ways to use our services in low-contact ways. It’s working very well with our print clients, many of whom already choose to order online and have their work shipped, and now we’re offering curbside service. Those who do choose to come in can feel confident that we are only serving one customer at a time in our lobby.

To help the community, if people are shopping for goods and services online in order to avoid risk, they should consider doing so from a small local business, for whom every dollar counts.

Are you offering any new products or ways for customers to purchase your products or services that are popular during this crisis?

Because of the pandemic and generous SBA loan terms, it was an opportune time to add a new service to our business to help it grow. In late March, right when Connecticut's shutdown happened, we purchased a Cruse scanner which allows us to digitize fine artwork, photographs, and documents up to 70”x72”. This type of scanner is often used by large institutions, so it gives us an advantage as a small business to have this piece of equipment. High-quality scans are part of the process of reproducing artwork as fine art prints, and printing gives artists another way to sell their work. Helping artists continue to make work to sell helps keep Connecticut’s art economy going.

Are there certain individuals or organizations that supported you and your business through this trying time?

Union Savings Bank assisted us with the daunting process of applying for small business loans, and our paper suppliers maintained an open dialogue with us to make sure we could continue to offer our services.
