Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Xtreme Cheer CT!

Four questions with Michael E. Talbot, founder of Xtreme Cheer CT.

Why did you start your business?

We started our business 18 years ago with a passion and belief in what we can do. We expanded and relocated to Danbury 1.5 years ago!

What is your best selling product/service?

Our training is our best product but how we treat our clients is our best service!

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We support our local small businesses as much as we can. We do not sell products but we support small restaurants and shops weekly. (Bagel King, Bambinos, Stanziato's, Westside Deli to name a few)

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

We have had to almost reinvent our practices since the start of this pandemic but we have done so safely and successfully. We reimagine life returning to normal soon and our business growing even more!

Xtreme Cheer CT nominate Bambinos Pizza. As Michael said - "Great food and customer service!"
