Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT, House to Home Organizing!

Four questions with Benjamin Soreff, founder of House to Home Organizing.

Why did you start your business?

We started House to Home Organizing not only because we love organizing but we wanted to put the focus on our clients. Everyone has the same "stuff", but every client is different. We don't want anxiety or regret. We want to be flexible and help our clients obtain their organizing goals.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Helping clients prepare to sell their homes, move and unpacking have become very popular especially with all the changes 2020 brought to this area. We enjoy setting up systems in our client's homes that they can use to be more productive right after they move in.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We rely on Ridgefield Moving and Junk Luggers to help us with bulk donations and trash removal. We have used Westport Auction to help our clients with items they would like to try and sell.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

Our virtual organizing has seen a huge surge in demand but now that the weather is nicer we are able to help many clients with their organizing projects in a safe way.

Benjamin and  House to Home Organizing would like to nominate Ridgefield Moving - "Tom Tuohy is the best!"
