You're IT DaSilva's Cleaning Service!

Three questions with Neti DaSilva, owner of DaSilva's Cleaning Service.

Why did you start your business?

I started my career as a day laborer to help my mother. She worked with a helper for a small house cleaning company. Suddenly, the helper left work and there was no one who could work with her the following week. I decided to help her until they got someone else and ultimately fell in love with the profession. After 2 years, the owner of the company was leaving the United States and at that moment,  I found my opportunity to have my professional freedom and achieve the American dream by owning my own business. I’m a big believer in not letting a great opportunity pass!

What is your best-selling product/service?

My bestselling service would be a deep cleaning for your home. Count on my job to always improve your daily life! I’m experienced at making beds, changing sheets, and distributing clean towels and toiletries. I'm an expert in sweeping, mopping, washing, waxing, and polishing floors. I'm also adept at dusting furniture and vacuuming, (carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture included). I have the ability to clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures as well as appliances. I'll make your life easy and simple and give your home a fresh new feel!

Have you "reimagined " your small business?

I believe that in moments of crisis the best opportunities arise for those who are prepared and are not afraid to work. In my life, I once heard a phrase that always comes to mind, which is: in crisis, just work, as long as it is with focus, purpose, and discipline. When I reimagine my small business, I think of striving to have more personal contact and interactions with my clients. Hopefully, not only in person but also migrating to the online universe. Now, more than ever, it is necessary for my name to circulate with the public and on the internet, whether through applications, websites, or social media. Most importantly, it's important for me to show my work ethic both on the Web and through word-of-mouth (recommendations from my current clients)!
