Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Positive Reflections!
Three questions with Pam Friedlander, founder of Positive Reflections.
Why did you start your business?
I started my business because I wanted women to feel fantastic when they looked in the mirror. It has been my passion from the Launch of Positive Reflections in 2006 to help women look beautiful, at any size, any age, any time. Feeling confident in your own skin when walking out the door every day has been my goal for every client.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Personal service is the key to Positive Reflections. I teach each woman how to Have Fun In Their Closet, by finding old treasures and discarding what no longer works. The result is creating new and updated outfits. Stress-free shopping, with a "Holding Hand” approach for every choice and every purchase, is also what made Positive Reflections Successful.
Have you "reimagined" your small business?
I have reimagined Positive Reflections to a Virtual Platform, due to the change in the recent past. Women and men are shopping online, business meetings are on Zoom or conference calls, and the tone of dressing has been casual and comfortable. Virtual Consultations is easy for my clients because they can work with me in the comfort of their own home, on the phone, zoom, or FaceTime.
