Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Peachwave of Danbury!

Three questions with Brian Leonardi, owner of Peachwave of Danbury.

Why did you start your business?

My wife and I purchased Peachwave of Danbury in May 2018, but the business had been operating at that address for at least 10 years prior.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Our best selling product is our fresh store-made frozen yogurts, topped with your choice of over 40 toppings, including our store-made whipped cream.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

Given the nature of our business we don’t have the opportunity to source supplies from local small businesses but often donate to groups and fundraisers benefitting the greater Danbury area.

Peachwave of Danbury is located at 39B Mill Plain Road in Danbury. Visit Peachwave of Danbury online here, and make sure to check out their Facebook page as well!
