You're IT Alyson Halas Psychotherapy!

Three questions with Alyson Halas, founder of Alyson Halas Psychotherapy.

Why did you start your business?

It is my mission to help support and hold individuals, families, groups, and communities in the process of managing stress and healing through trauma to restore body, heart, and mind, as well as a deep connection to ourselves and each other. I believe we are all here to serve in unique ways and I am passionate about connecting people into their path and purpose.

What is your best-selling product/service?

It wasn’t until recently that I have been able to own the answer to this question. I am my best-selling product and service. My presence in a room, my ability to create safety with other human beings, my ability to hold trauma and pain simultaneously with joy and light, and my ability to see into the heart and truth of those who choose to connect with me.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

I have a deep love for one on one therapy and over the course of the past 10 years, I've found I also have a deep love for group work & coaching, especially where women are concerned. I have expanded Alyson Halas Psychotherapy to be able to offer more one-on-one therapy by hiring two clinicians and also to provide more group work like therapeutic book clubs and weekly EFT tapping sessions for anxiety & stress.

We have an amazing 4-month individualized program for those who want to take the next step, but who are feeling blocks that prevent them from doing so. We are reimagining what therapy is by taking it out of the office and into people's everyday lives. We are developing ways of providing one on one services and group work that incorporate physical movement and exercise with mental health and wellness interventions since we know doing the mental work along with the physical can accelerate the benefits of psychotherapy.

We teach tools that can be used while grocery shopping, sitting at your desk, upon waking up, or before going to bed. We want to teach others how to process through vs pushing away or down.
