Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT The Country Bear!

Four questions with Robyn Jesser, founder of The Country Bear.

Why did you start your business?

Like so many others, I found myself without a job due to Covid. The Country Bear started with a desire to do something artistic and creative while re-purposing scrap wood from my husband’s projects.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Our best-selling product is our custom floral arrangements!

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We use the following businesses to support our business: RAJ Construction, LLC and Niche (Antiques & Collectibles).

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

The thing I enjoy the most is the constant evolving of our products and business.

Robyn would like to nominate Nails By Haylee to be featured next!
