Connecticut Eye Consultants, P.C. Announces New Southbury Office

DANBURY, CT — Connecticut Eye Consultants, P.C. is pleased to announce its expansion into Southbury with the acquisition of Oculofacial Associates of Connecticut at 1449 Old Waterbury Road, and the addition of its founder, Mark C. Ruchman, M.D. to the CEC staff.

Dr. Ruchman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmic plastic surgeon. A Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude graduate of Williams College, he received his medical degree from Yale University and completed his residency and fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. He was one of the original investigators in New England for the use of Botox® in the treatment of facial dystonia. Today, he specializes in treating migraine with Botox®.

CEC oculoplastic surgeon Katherine J. Zamecki, M.D will join Dr. Ruchman in the Southbury office two days per week, while keeping her office at 69 Sand Pit Road in Danbury. As of February, she will no longer be seeing patients in New Milford.
