Danbury Museum Cancels Gala, Encourages Residents to Visit 80th Anniversary Exhibit

The Board of Trustees and the Friends of the Danbury Museum have made the difficult decision to pause the museum’s annual gala for this year.

We know how much you all enjoy our signature event each winter—and we enjoy hosting it and getting to see friends, members, and sponsors who come out to support the mission of the Danbury Museum—so we hope we can look forward to seeing you at some of the other (fun)draising events we are planning for the year ahead.

Watch this space for the details of our 2023 programming and fundraising, and know how grateful the staff, Trustees, and Friends of the Danbury Museum all are for your commitment to supporting the museum.

If you haven't been to visit us in a while, why not book a tour of the four historic buildings on the 43 Main Street Campus or the Charles Ives Birthplace? Both are FREE until April 1, as we close out the celebration of the museum's 80th anniversary.

Check out our Plan Your Visit page for all the details.
