In a letter to supporters, Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton today announced that he will make a special announcement this Thursday in regard to his gubernatorial run.
Boughton said, "After a year of exploring a run for statewide office, I have reached a decision on participating in the 2018 election. I hope you will join me in Danbury on Thursday evening for a very special announcement. I could not do this without your support and am honored to have you on our team as we move forward."
Boughton will make his announcement at 6:00 pm on January 4 at The Palace Theater (165 Main Street, Danbury).
Parking is available behind the theater. Doors will open at 5:30pm.
