Greater Danbury Area Post Legislative Breakfast Forum at Ridgewood Country Club

Post Legislative Breakfast Forum at Ridgewood Country Club

The Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce and Connecticut Business & Industry Association  are co-hosting a Post Legislative Breakfast Forum this Thursday, June 14th at Ridgewood Country Club from 8:00am-10:00am.

The forum will consist of State Legislators from the 10 town region of the Greater Danbury area. This event provides an opportunity for business owners and residents to hear directly from their representatives in an open forum to discuss the recent legislative session.

President & CEO of the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce, P.J. Prunty, encourages guests to attend the first ever post-legislative forum. “We are looking to increase access for our members of the chamber to the public officials from the Greater Danbury area. This forum is an excellent opportunity to speak directly to the area legislators and make sure that their thoughts and concerns are being heard by the decision-makers in Harford.”

The “Post Legislative Forum” is the first time the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce is teaming with Connecticut Business & Industry Association to offer this event. Prunty goes on to say that “The Chamber will continue to identify opportunities in the future to make sure our members are getting the face time they need with area legislators. It’s critical, especially in these challenging economic times that the businesses’ priorities are communicated effectively.”

The breakfast is open to the public and free for members of the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce and CBIA. ($15 for non-members) Light continental breakfast will be served.

Sponsors of the event include Rose & Kiernan Inc, DaSilva Realty, and Mulvaney Mechanical.
