Bethel and Danbury Legislators Hold Community Forum on State of Cannabis in Connecticut

Legislators Allie-Brennan and Kushner to host a forum in Danbury on the state of cannabis legislation in Connecticut

Hosted in collaboration with Regulate Connecticut, State Representative Raghib Allie-Brennan (D-Bethel) and State Senator Julie Kushner (D-Danbury) will hold a public conversation dedicated to explaining current proposals regarding the legalization, regulation and taxation of cannabis.

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc., 120 Main Street, Danbury.

"As the debate begins to pick up steam again with the next legislative session several months away, State Senator Kushner and I wanted to provide an opportunity for residents to hear about the state of the policy here in Connecticut and what's at stake," says Rep. Allie-Brennan. "Whether you're for or against it, this conversation is too important to sit out."
