Today, Mayor Dean Esposito released the following statement following Governor Lamont’s office announcing funding for the Danbury Charter School.
“I am thrilled that Governor Lamont allocated money for the creation of the Danbury Charter School in his budget. It’s clear that the local community stakeholders are in favor of this, with the majority of the City Council and the majority of the Board of Education, forming a coalition of elected officials to advocate directly to the governor. Now it’s up to our legislative delegation to bring this home for Danbury."
