An energized and united crowd of approximately 75 people gathered at the Maron Hotel in Danbury last night for the official nominations of the Independent Party of Danbury.
In what was a contentious week for the party, due to a group of outsiders, trying to usurp the election and the party. The failed attempt would not break the spirit of the Party and the nominations went on without incident.
This was the most unified and strongest ticket the Independent Party of Danbury has had in recent memory. The Party unanimously selected a formidable team to run in November. The theme of the night was party unity and the future of our great city. Chairman Roeun spoke of the battles the Party faced and how the Executive Board remains unified and was able to put forth and nominate a great ticket for the November Elections.
