Danbury residents alerted to boil water or use bottled water

The City of Danbury is notifying all residents who use the city water system to use bottled water or boil their water for drinking and cooking. Even if you were not previously impacted, due to system flushing, all city water customers are advised to boil their water.

The City of Danbury experienced a water main break for customers east of Main Street, East of North Street up to Route 84 and South to South Street.

Periodic updates will be provided. We will notify you when you no longer need to boil your water.
