Danbury Fire Department Reponds to MVA with Passenger Trapped Inside

Yesterday, Saturday, July 11 at approximately 5:30 pm Danbury Fire Department reports that they responded to a reported serious MVA at 40 Taggan Point Road. "Upon arrival, units found a heavily damaged Subaru Outback station wagon with a passenger trapped in the front right seat," the fire department says.

According to the report, due to the location of the vehicle and the tree, units had to remove the entire roof of the vehicle and then remove the victim across the driver's side of the vehicle. The patient was later transported to Nuvance Health Danbury Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
