Three months ago, the City of Danbury Police Department issued a Silver Alert for 57-year-old Todd Smith who was last seen in Danbury on January 16, according to police.
On April 8, a concerned citizen notified the Danbury Police Department of a possible body submerged in a retention pond at the entrance of 55 Mill Plain Road. The body was taken to the Chief Medical Examiner.
Today, Danbury Police reported that it was Smith, according to the newstimes.
