This Week in the City: Mayor Dean Esposito Announces Clean City Danbury Day on Saturday, May 6

Mayor Dean Esposito encourages residents to participate in Clean City Danbury Day on Saturday, May 6th from 8AM to 12 noon. This event gives residents an opportunity to clean their home or property of debris and unwanted items free of charge at five locations throughout the
City.

“I am excited for another year of Clean City Danbury Day. Our community has come together over the years to clean up homes, properties, and our city streets. I would like to welcome residents, community groups and organizations to adopt a street as part of this incredible day which is made possible through the generosity and partnership of Oak Ridge Waste and Recycling. I look forward to seeing all of you on May 6th for the return of this important event.”

Organizations, groups and individuals who wish to volunteer at a dump site or adopt-a-street may sign up by using the online form at www.danbury-ct.gov/cleancity. For additional questions, they may contact Jonathan Barney in the Mayor’s Office at j.barney@danbury-ct.gov or call 203-797-4511.
