This Week in the City Episode 52: Danbury Water System Upgrades and Improvements Bond Referendum

This Week in the City, I'm joined by Antonio Iadarola, P.E., Director of Public Works/City Engineer for the City of Danbury, and James Rosenberg, Chief Operator, Water Treatment for the City of Danbury, to discuss the recently passed Water System Upgrades and Improvements Bond Referendum.

The Bond Referendum, which Danbury voters passed 83% - 17%, allows the City of Danbury to upgrade crucial components of the existing water system assets, facilities and infrastructure.

The Bond will allow us to tackle issues that the City has been looking to fix for the last 10 years, and address upgrades for the first time in 41 years. For the second year straight, the City of Danbury has won Best Drinking Water in the region, and we’ll continue to provide the best drinking water, quality water, and quantity of water that we can for the residents of Danbury.
