Danbury Resident Jaylen Hawkins Honored at Western New England University's 49th Annual Cocurricular Awards Ceremony

Jaylen Hawkins of Danbury received the Athletics Impact Award at the 2023 Cocurricular Awards Ceremony at Western New England University on May 6th in Rivers Memorial Hall.

The Athletics Impact Award recognizes devoted service to the athletic community through contributions and a commitment to leadership as a Western New England University student-athlete. The award was presented by Associate Director for Student-Athlete Development, Jennifer Kolins.

Every year, the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership at Western New England University organizes the Cocurricular Awards ceremony, which recognizes the culmination of a year of community service and student programming by over 70 active clubs and organizations. Out of the many deserving nominees, 23 students were chosen to receive the prestigious cocurricular awards.

Hawkins is working toward a BSE in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering Concentration.
