Wayback Burgers to Open New Location in Danbury this Fall

America’s Hometown Burger Joint to Open Sixteenth Connecticut Location Early Fall;

New Location to Add Nearly 30 Jobs to the Area Economy

 Wayback Burgers, serving delicious, fresh, never frozen burgers and hand-dipped milkshakes amidst an atmosphere reminiscent of a hometown burger joint, today announced that it will expand its footprint in Connecticut with its newest restaurant, located at 71 Newton Road in Danbury, slated to open in early fall. The new restaurant is the first Wayback Burgers location owned and operated by local franchisees – and sisters – Eileen and Katie Curry, and it is the sixteenth store in the state of Connecticut.  The new location, once opened, will add nearly 30 new jobs to the local economy.

Wayback Burgers offers hand-made burgers, cooked to order, available as a single, classic double, triple and triple triple (nine) patty, and rich, thick milkshakes made the old-fashioned way by hand, using only fresh milk and hand-dipped ice cream, served in an environment that hearkens back to a simpler place and time – when “customer service” meant something and everyone felt the warmth of the community. Going “way” beyond the burger, Wayback Burgers offers crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, fresh salads and delicious sides, including fries, onion rings, homestyle chili and house-made chips, as well as its famous Burger and Milkshake of the Month.

“We are pleased to announce that we will be opening a Wayback Burgers restaurant in Danbury, slated to open this fall,” said Eileen Curry, local franchisee. “We look forward to expanding the Wayback Burgers brand within the market by delivering on our promise to customers – excellent service and top notch burgers, fries and shakes for foodies, with the feel of a true family business, in the Danbury area and beyond.”

“We are thrilled to continue the steady growth of Wayback Burgers within Connecticut while expanding its footprint in new and existing markets across the country,” said John Eucalitto, president of Wayback Burgers. “With more than 100 locations nationally and internationally – and steadily growing – we are proud to be working with great franchise partners like Eileen team. It’s an exciting time for the Wayback Burgers brand.”

The new Wayback Burgers of Danbury will encompass a 2,000 square-foot design, featuring a warm red barn board interior with white and stainless steel accents, modeled after the great American roadside burger joint.
