Are you in the caregiver role? If so, then you’ll want to join us for the inaugural lecture of the Goldstone Caregiver Center program, “Caring for the Caregiver” on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. The lecture takes place at Danbury Hospital, 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury.
Featured speaker Heidi Weiss, LMSW, MHA, whose professional career has focused on providing supportive services to individuals and families facing acute, chronic, debilitating or life-limiting illness, will present an informative interactive lecture in the Goldstone Caregiver Center Conference Room located in the main lobby of Danbury Hospital’s new Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Pavilion.
The focus of her presentation will be on the many aspects of caregiving including common stressors, various aspects of managing one’s care, how to deal with caregiving stress, and the rewards of caregiving.
