State Police Detectives Investigate Easton Missing Persons

On August 7, 2015 the Easton Police Department responded to a missing persons complaint in Easton. 

Easton Police Officers learned that two residents of Easton, Jeffrey Navin (age 56) and Jeanette Navin (age 55), were missing, and reported to be last seen on August 4, 2015.  Easton Police Officers initiated an investigation, and conducted a search for the Navins throughout the weekend.

On August 9, 2015 Connecticut State Troopers located a vehicle belonging to the Navins in the exit 42 commuter lot off the Merritt Parkway (Rte 15).  Troopers secured the vehicle.

On August 10, 2015 Easton Police Department requested detectives from the Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad assist in the investigation.

On August 19, 2015, the Bridgeport States Attorney’s Office requested that the Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad assume the missing persons investigation.
