Prostitution Arrest in Darien

Darien, CT –The Darien Police Department, in a joint investigation with the CT State Police and Department of Homeland Security, initiated an investigation into alleged prostitution at Sunrise Health Therapeutic Massage located at 800 Post Rd. unit 3C.
The Darien Police Department's Patrol Division developed information that patrons of Sunrise Health were being offered sex acts in exchange for money. This information launched a four month investigation by the Darien Police which utilized undercover informants, Connecticut State Police-Statewide Organized Crime Investigation Task Force and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The arrests led to the seizure of four thousand five hundred dollars in cash which was located in the establishment as well as a vehicle which was used to transport the female employees.
The investigation led to the arrest of the proprietor, Fu Xu, a 49 year old male from Elmhurst, NY. He was charged with Promoting Prostitution, Permitting Prostitution and three counts of Employing Unlicensed Massage Therapists. Fenjiao Gao, a 43 year female from Flushing, NY was charged with Interfering with a Police Officer and Practicing Massage without a Licencse. Xiuguin Lu, a 45 year old female also from Flushing, NY was charged with two counts of Prostitution and three counts of Practicing Massage without a License.
Lu was held on a twenty thousand dollar bond and transported to Stamford Superior Court on 11/30/12. Her next court appearance is 12/10/2012. Gao was held on a one thousand dollar bond and transported to Stamford Superior Court on 11/30/12. Her next court appearance is 12/10/12.
Xu was held on a five thousand dollar bond and his next court appearance is also 12/10/12.
