Hindley Elementary School has recently been the recipient of the Blue Ribbon Award from the Department of Education and is now proudly displaying it above its entrance. Hindley Elementary School is one of four public schools in Connecticut to receive the National Blue Ribbon Award for its academic excellence over the past five years. This prestigious award was also received by Darien's Middlesex Middle School in 2008.
