Darien EMS-Post 53's Annual Food Fair returns to Tilley Park Pond on May 27th following the Memorial Day parade raising money to support the community's emergency medical services. The fair, which begins immediately after the parade, continues until 3:00 p.m. and features fun for the entire community. Admission tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased at the gate.
Back by popular demand, the fair will include a captivating Silent Auction and an array of boutiques featuring local artisans, CPR demonstrations, ambulance tours and blood pressure checks. In addition, this year's fair will include a tasty and tempting expanded food selection.
New selections include:
- Crab Salad from Fisherman's Net
- Southwestern Veggie Wraps from The Goose
- Homemade donuts – hot and fresh, made on-site from the Postie's Non-Stop Donut Shop
- Warm Bavarian Pretzels
Or try some of our old favorites: hamburgers and bratwurst from Palmers; pulled pork sandwiches from Smoky Joe's; smoothies from Robek's; salad and gazpacho from Michael Joseph's; and yummy baked goods at our Bake Sale.
- Zumba hosted by Amber Allen from Flair Fitness in Darien – Latin-inspired, kid-friendly routines that are fun and easy to follow. So ditch the workout and join the party!
The entire fair will move to the sounds of the Lost Causes, featuring Darien High School students.
Other highlights include:
