SNOW Way!!!

I've had it with reporting on snow and I know you, dear Darien reader, would like to tell me to shove it.  Go ahead! I don't blame you!  The fact is, come Monday, we'll all be shoveling IT.  And, by it I mean that white stuff that shall remain nameless.

We are at a Snow Rage Code Red situation in Southern Connecticut these days.  However, telling Jack Frost to kiss off is not working so here is the latest from the National Weather Service:

"Hazardous Weather Outlook: THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR 8 INCHES OR MORE OF SNOW FROM SUNDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY MONDAY EVENING. ANY CHANGE IN THE TRACK AND INTENSITY OF THE SYSTEM MAY HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE AMOUNT AND TYPE OF PRECIPITATION EXPECTED."

My favorite weatherman, Jacob Meisel, @SWCTweather on Twitter, predicts "Overall, forecast remains complex. Overrunning snow very likely Monday morning. Placement of main surface low Monday afternoon harder."  He reserves his full weather report for Saturday when the weather models will be more exact.  His weather precision is stunning and he is the best predictor of school closings this year.  @SWCTweather restored my faith in weather prediction accuracy.

Feel free to file complaints with Mother Nature on our Facebook Page.
