Over the weekend the Darien High School football team competed against Shelton High School for the title of the CIAC Class LL Champions.
With an earlier lead and continued strength throughout the game, Darien High School defeated Shelton with an overwhelming win scoring 39 points to Shelton's 7, according to the Hartford Courtant. The team worked hard throughout the season to end the year on a such a high.
