Guests on March 11 can choose between two spectacular IMAX® movies, which will alternate on the hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: “Dream Big” and “Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Secret Ocean.”

Also, for an additional fee through pre-registrations, Scouts can take part in Maritime Aquarium educational programs, some of which support specific badge requirements. These include

“Environmental Science” and “Oceanography” merit badges for Boy Scouts, and “Pets” and “Animal Habitats” badges for Girl Scouts.

Other Scout Day opportunities include “Science on the Sound” cruises onto Long Island Sound aboard the Aquarium’s unique hybrid-electric research vessel (at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; $15 in addition to admission).

Times and costs of the Aquarium-led programs vary, but all require advance registration by March 1.
