Three questions with John N. Ruddy, owner of J.N. Ruddy Builders.
Why did you start your business?
Growing up, I spent my summers working at my father’s construction company. After graduating from college, I realized that building and restoring homes was something I was passionate about. I decided to continue on that path and take it a step further by starting a company of my own, where I’m able to provide clients with exceptional customer service while doing what I love in the building industry.
We’ve been fortunate enough to pair with many great local Darien businesses. I am currently building a new home designed by Stephen Jones Design. We source most of our lumber and building materials from Ring’s End. D&D Homes has been a great local provider of tile and bath fixtures for many of our projects.
Best selling product or service?
We do equal amounts of building, remodeling and restoration in Darien. Regardless of the type or scale of the project, commitment to our clients and their vision is always our top priority.
