Editor's note: the FCIAC Diving Finals (Nov. 4) have been moved this year and will be held at the New Canaan YMCA.
Darien High School’s Varsity Girls Swim and Dive Team hopes to build on its success during the post-season. The Blue Wave enters the FCIAC championship meets after posting an undefeated regular season (9-0). DHS has won the title of FCIAC Champion four times (2009, 2012, 2013, and 2014).
The Blue Wave will compete against 12 teams in the FCIAC Championships. Darien and Greenwich are the only teams that posted undefeated regular seasons. DHS did not compete against three of the 12 teams during this year’s regular season (Greenwich, Norwalk/McMahon and Staples).
