
This week, U.S. News & World Report released their 2021 Best High Schools ranking. The publication reviewed nearly 24,000 U.S. public high schools; 205 Connecticut schools made their rankings.
According to U.S. News & World Report, Darien High School is ranked first within Connecticut. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams. The AP® participation rate at Darien High School is 69%. The total minority enrollment is 13%, and 3% of students are economically disadvantaged. Darien High School is the only high school in the Darien School District.
The 2021 edition ranks more than 17,800 public high schools throughout the country, measuring how well schools serve students from various social and economic backgrounds.
