Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Kate Gelineau Real Estate.
Four questions with Kathleen Gelineau.
Why did you start your business?
I was officially licensed in November of 2021!
What is your best-selling product/service?
Real Estate! I help homeowners market to sell their homes, and buyers find their dream homes in both Fairfield and New Haven Counties.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Typically I find local businesses based on need. The last home I sold needed fantastic photographs to truly find its hidden potential and reached out to Bob Grunsczynski who did an amazing job.
Have you "reimagined" your small business?
Yes and no. I have found that as much as Real Estate hasn’t changed, the way to find potential clients has. I am using Social Media more than I realized I would with Instagram.
I am not sure it’s the way to go yet, but I am plugging away and just trying to help serve the people of Fairfield and New Haven Counties the best I can.
