Positive Parenting in Today's World
Raising children in today's world can be difficult. Parents are faced with challenges on many different levels from proper nutrition and discipline to more complicated issues such as stress and media overload. To address these issues, YWCA Parent Awareness, Darien Sport Shop and Hindley PTO are sponsoring Positive Parenting in Today's World at Hindley School, 10 Nearwater Lane, on Tuesday, April 30 from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
Dr. Julia Trebing of Creative Therapies in Stamford, CT, will offer advice on how to help your children build a solid physical foundation and develop healthy emotional intelligence. Dr. Trebing will also discuss techniques to help parents improve family life in a complicated, stressful world. Learn tips on how to ease stress in young children, tackle sibling rivalry, and develop confident children by building self esteem and inner happiness.
