Michael McDonald to Close Out the Alive@Five Season on August 15

Yes, all good things must come to an end. But there’s still a chance to catch the final Alive@Five concert of the summer on August 15, 2013.

Closing out the season is the white haired, blue eyed guy with a soulful voice you cannot mistake; five time Grammy winner Michael McDonald.

McDonald is known as a soul singer, taking on Motown hits, R&B sounds and even was a member of the popular band, The Doobie Brothers for six years.

You won’t want to miss this industry legend when he steps onto the stage in Downtown Stamford!

Concerts are open to all ages but after 7 p.m. you must be at least 21 years old to enter with photo I.D. required and there is no re-entry. There is a $10 fee to attend Alive@Five> (a $5 savings from earlier in the season) but children 12 or under are free. All people wishing to attend will have to go through one main entrance on Main Street.

New this year (via Alive@Five): If you are 25 and under you will be required to fill out a CT Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Division Age Statement Form, certifying that you are 21 years of age or older. False statements will be subject to fines according to the laws of the State of Connecticut.

Concerts will take place rain or shine.
