The Darien Library will host two children's events, a storytime on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at Whole Foods and a Wonder-Lab Show on Thursday, Dec. 28 at the Darien Library.
The storytime on Dec. 27 will be held from 1:30 - 2 p.m. in the café area if Darien’s Whole Food Market (150 Ledge Road in Darien). Darien librarians will celebrate the season with books, rhymes, and songs. An art activity and refreshments will follow.
Open to children in Kindergarten and up, the Wonder-Lab Show will be held at the Darien Library's Community Room from 3 - 4 p.m. Participants will help Santa “Eggbert” get down a glass chimney in time. They’ll lend a hand to mother nature by creating an indoor snowfall. A quick change in the weather will follow as they defrost Frosty. As the winter holiday draws to a close, they'll help Santa and those tired reindeer get over the Northern lights with a special Super Sonic Rocket Fuel.
