Darien’s Got Talent, a Darien Arts Center Fundraiser is BACK!
Finals Show - June 23, 2018
Our 2016 competition was a huge success - competing acts from Darien, Westport, Norwalk, Stamford, New Canaan and Greenwich included singers, dancers, and musicians that awed both the audience at Darien High School and the panel of judges.
And now, the highly anticipated talent competition for all ages, is returning in the spring of 2018.
This fundraising event for the DAC features prizes for adults and children, and accomplished entertainment professionals as judges for the auditions and finals, which in 2016, drew an audience of over 500 people.
Contestants can enter alone or as part of a group, to sing, dance, play an instrument or perform any other talent in the competition. Acapella groups, garage bands and dance ensembles are welcome. Auditions will be held on May 19th and 20th in the DAC Weatherstone Studio. Twenty finalists will compete for top prizes in front of a live audience at Darien High School.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three adult and top three children winners, for a total of six prizes awarded.
Adults - 1st place $1000, 2nd place $750, 3rd place $500
Children - 1st Place $750, 2nd Place $500, 3rd Place $250
