Paper Menagerie Art Opening at Darien Nature Center on May 30 from 6:30 to 8pm
Stacey Elaine is a local artist and Darien Nature Center preschool mom. She creates her art by carefully cutting designs into layers of tissue paper, which she then applies and seals onto heavy white art paper. Stacey’s detailed and intricate designs depict a bold, vivid world full of colorful animals, plants and flowers. She has made nearly all her pieces during her kids’ afternoon naps!
