Students, 18 years or older can register for an Adult Playwriting Workshop at the Darien Arts Center that takes place on Mondays from 7-9pm, from February 4-March 18th. (There is no class on February 18.) Over this six-session workshop led by internationally produced playwright, Jason Pizzarello, writers will conquer the blank page together by focusing on core story building blocks: character, conflict, structure, dialogue, dramatic action, and theatricality. Each class will offer weekly exercises, constructive feedback, rewriting techniques, and building community and trust within the group. Participants will work on new plays they hope to start, finish, or rewrite.
