Special Education Legal Panel Tomorrow at Winston Prep in Norwalk

Join Special Education Legal Fund and Winston Preparatory School at Winston's Norwalk campus as we present a discussion on special education laws featuring distinguished special education attorneys Piper Paul (Law Offices of Piper Paul) and Michael Gilberg (Michael Gilberg, Attorney-at-Law). 

Piper Paul, Esq. is admitted to practice law in both Connecticut and New York state courts, as well as federal courts and has extensive experience representing students from Birth to Three through post-secondary levels. Areas of practice include special education and 504 advocacy, mediation, due process hearings, medical disabilities, juvenile court matters, disciplinary hearings, and other related matters. She received her undergraduate degree from NYU and law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Michael Gilberg, Esq has years of both Special Education and Disability Rights Law and Advocacy Experience. Attorney Gilberg also speaks from his own personal experience as someone on the Autism Spectrum who practices law as an advocate for children with special needs. He received his J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 2007 after receiving both his B.A. and M.P.A. also from Pace University.

The panel will be moderated by Christine Lai (Special Education Legal Fund).

The panel discussion will take place from 7pm-8pm. Q&A to follow.
