Writing, Hollywood, and Glass Ceilings: Authors Jan Eliasberg & Rebecca Serle in Darien on March 11

Everwell and Barrett Bookstore will welcome authors Jan Eliasberg and Rebecca Serle for a discussion on their respective new books, screenwriting in Hollywood, and their careers. Everwell's Thought Consultant, Page Berger will moderate the March 11 event, which runs from 7-8:30 p.m.

Hannah's War and In Five Years will be available for purchase. The event is complimentary for Everwell members, $25 for non-members.

Jan Eliasberg has had a long career in film, theatre, and television. Her directing credits  include to Thirteen Reasons Why, Parenthood, Nashville, Dawson's Creek, Party of Five, NCIS, Criminal Minds, and Cagney & Lacey. Eliasberg's first novel, Hannah’s War, will be released in March and is being compared to The Nightingale and The Alice Network

Rebecca Serle is an author and television writer who lives in New York and Los Angeles. Serle co-developed the hit TV adaptation of her YA series Famous in Love, and is also the author of The Dinner List and YA novels The Edge of Falling and When You Were Mine. She received her MFA from the New School in NYC. Early praise for her new novel, In Five Years suggests that "this is the next great love story. It's just not the one you were expecting...."
