Darien's Week Beach Fest Goes Virtual TOMORROW!

Darien Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 4th Annual Weed Beach Fest tomorrow, Saturday, June 6 - VIRTUALLY!

This year was already special due to 2020 being Darien’s 200th birthday and Weed Beach Fest being selected to host Darien’s birthday party creating THE WEED BEACH FEST BICENTENNIAL BASH!

This birthday party was crafted to bring Darien families together for an afternoon of food, fun, music, history and community building. Unfortunately, due to the health and safety of our residents, we made the difficult decision to postpone the Weed Beach Fest Bicentennial Bash to June 5th, 2021.

However, in every bad situation, there is an element of good. Since we felt our community still deserved something to celebrate, this year we have accepted the unexpected opportunity to host Virtual Weed Beach Fest!

Still occurring on Saturday, June 6th, we look forward to providing a fun-filled day of music, activities and community fellowship – from the comfort and safety of your living room! With real-time games and social media contests, you’re going to want to tune-in and get the whole family involved to take home some prizes!

The link HERE will become available to watch at 8:00am, Saturday, June 6th. Weed Beach Fest will also be aired on local TV Channel 79 starting at 9:00am.
