Darien Library Presents Living Dangerously on Film: A History of Movie Stunts on August 14 via Zoom

Stunt doubles risk their lives by hurling themselves off cliffs, leaping onto charging horses, enduring punches, and dynamite blasts. Until recent decades, the names of most movie stunt people were unknown to moviegoers. Darien Library presents, Living Dangerously on Film: A History of Movie Stunts with film historian Max Alvarez. He will share two hours of thrills and chills by the greatest stunt practitioners in history. The program will take place on Zoom, August 14 at 5 p.m. Please visit darienlibrary.org to register.
