Darien Arts Center Announces Audition Workshop with Musical Director of WICKED

The Darien Arts Center is excited to offer “Gosh, I Hope I Get It!”, a new Musical Theatre Audition Workshop led by Dan Micciche, Darien native and DHS Theatre 308 alumnus. Micciche, Broadway’s Music Director of WICKED, will guide students through the ins and outs of the college prep/audition experience. The 4-week workshop will dive into song interpretation, rep book presentation and will cover questions and answers about different topics.

Dan Micciche grew up in Darien and developed his skills in Theatre 308 at Darien High School with Nancy Herman. In addition to his role as WICKED's Music Director, his career has included thousands of performances in CHICAGO on Broadway, as well as performances at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and at venues all around the world.

“Gosh, I Hope I Get It!” will take place on Thursdays, October 29 through November 19, from 7:45-8:45pm, in the DAC Weatherstone Studio, located at 2 Renshaw Road, behind the Town Hall. Students in grades 9-12 may sign up for the workshop, which costs $200, at darienarts.org. For questions, call the DAC at (203) 655-8683.
