Ian and Shep Murray, CEOs and Co-Founders of vineyard vines discuss The Story Behind the Brand
This is part of the DCAAnnual Fundraising Speaker Series, Darien Neighbors, Global Players
Join us on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00pm for the last event of our Darien Neighbors, Global Players speaker series. Ian and Shep Murray, CEOs and co-founders, Vineyard Vines, will be in conversation with Demi Ferraris, VP of Custom and Corporate Sales, Vineyard Vines. They will be discussing vineyard vines: The Story Behind the Brand.
The retail industry has been hard-hit since March, as people spend more time at home. How has an iconic apparel and lifestyle brand like vineyard vines adapted? Founded in 1998 by the two brothers, with headquarters based in Stamford, vineyard vines products are sold nationwide in their own retail locations, through a custom and licensing division, in specialty and department stores worldwide and through their direct to customer catalog and web business.
Ian Murray received a B.A. in English from Lafayette College in 1997 and is a graduate of the Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT. He currently splits his time between Darien, Connecticut and Edgartown, Massachusetts with his wife and three children. Ian is an avid pilot, boater, angler, and musician.
Shep Murray received a B.S. in business from Skidmore College in 1993 and is also a graduate of the Brunswick School. He currently splits his time between Stamford, Connecticut and Edgartown, Massachusetts with his wife and three children. Shep is an avid boater, angler, tennis player, musician, and art collector.
