Barrett Bookstore and Make-Modern are thrilled to welcome Gina Hamadey to Darien for a virtual event on April 29

Barrett Bookstore and Make-Modern are thrilled to welcome Gina Hamadey to Darien for a virtual event featuring Hamadey’s new book “I Want to Thank You: How a Year of Gratitude Can Bring Joy and Meaning in a Disconnected World.”

Hamadey spent a year writing 365 thank-you notes to neighbors, teachers, long-lost friends, favorite authors, and more. An advocate for kindness and connection, Hamadey will talk about her gratitude journey and the power of a simple note.

Joining Hamadey will be lettering expert Robin Gilbert who will walk participants through the process of creating a beautiful package for expressions of gratitude. This will be a love-filled, creative evening not to be missed! NB: Gina Hamadey is receiving wonderful press coverage for her new book; she has been featured on the Today Show and Rachel Ray. She also penned an article on her journey for the New York Times. You can read it here.

As a part of the conversation, there will be an opportunity for Q and A. Books available for purchase in-store or via the Barrett Bookstore website here.
