Divorce, Now What?

Starting the divorce process brings up a number of questions: what are the steps that you will need to take? Should you choose litigation, mediation, or collaboration? What professionals will best serve you in this process? Darien Library presents an event with experts who will share their knowledge on navigating these questions and more. This virtual event will take place on Wednesday, May 12 at 7 p.m. Register on Darien Library’s website at darienlibrary.org/event/4984.

“Divorce, Now What?” will delve into the common mistakes and misconceptions that parties have about divorce. This talk is appropriate for people who are getting divorced, contemplating divorce, or professionals who work with people who are getting divorced.

Her goal is to give clients the best possible outcome in their divorce. She specializes in helping families with special needs children.

About Maurice Segall

Maurice Segall is an experienced mediator who has worked successfully with many couples to reach mutually agreeable resolutions of their divorce, post-divorce, and prenuptial and postnuptial matters.

Maurice has been an attorney since 1988 and for over 25 years has concentrated his private practice in divorce and family mediation. Maurice is a member of the Connecticut Council for

Non-Adversarial Divorce, and a former Board member of its predecessor organization. He has served as trainer for Dr. Carl Schneider of Mediation Matters and as a consultant mediator for the Stamford Counseling Center in Stamford, CT. He is a member of the Connecticut and New York State Bars.
