Darien Library Dives Into Life and Work of Paul Cézanne on May 18

Darien Library is pleased to present an in-depth examination of one of the most influential artists in the history of painting, Paul Cézanne.

Art historian Page Knox will dive into the life and work of the inspirational artist, from his portraits of his long-suffering wife to the landscapes of his beloved Mt. Saint Victoire. This virtual event will take place on Tuesday, May 18 at 7 p.m. Register on Darien Library’s website at darienlibrary.org/event/5012.

This event serves as a primer in anticipation to the upcoming “Cézanne Drawing” exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, scheduled to open on June 6.
