Darien Library is excited to present an event for foodies looking to learn something new. Sushi chef Jacob DH Hwang will guide attendees through the steps on how to make their very own California rolls. This virtual event will take place on Thursday, June 17 at 7 p.m. Register on Darien Library’s website at darienlibrary.org/event/5018.
A list of ingredients and supplies will be provided closer to the event for attendees who would like to make sushi alongside this virtual presentation, and sushi kits can be purchased at the following places: Palmer’s market in Darien, ShopRite in Norwalk, Kumo restaurant in Stamford, and Izumi Sushi Café in Stamford.
Jacob DH Hwang chose a career as a sushi chef over law enforcement and has never looked back. Chef Jacob Hwang has been in the food industry, working at sushi and Korean food restaurants for a handful of years.
